More about the entertainers below:

The Chorus Crew

The Chorus Crew have been singing together for three years and now sing regularly in pubs, nursing homes, friendship groups and other venues in the Harrogate and Knaresborough area.

We sing a wide range of unaccompanied folk songs and sea shanties. We pride ourselves on providing a varied programme, interacting well with our audiences and encouraging them to join in.

We practice on a Tuesday night in Harrogate and are always on the look out for additional crew members and, indeed, new audiences!

Chris and Ed

Chris and Ed are two lads, originally from Leeds although Chris now lives in Harrogate.  Chris, 24 is the vocalist whilst Ed, 23 plays guitar. They have been friends for a long time and gigged together many times.

Harrogate Gang Show

The money raised will go towards putting on the Gang Show at the Royal Hall on 4th – 6th April 2019. The Gang are made up of young people from across the district who attend Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides and Explorers.

Additionally, we hold a Christmas concert at the Royal Hall in conjunction with the Brighouse and Rastrick Band which, this year, will be on Saturday December 17th with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Harrogate Spa Town Ukes

Harrogate Spa Town Ukes formed in May 2014 to provide a social venue for people to come along and play the Ukulele. The Ukulele is a great social instrument – it is very versatile and the group play all styles of music.

Harrogate Spa Town Ukes meet every Wednesday evening between 7.30 and 9.30 pm at the Roberts Club, Robert Street, Harrogate. New members are always welcome.

We will be raising money for St Michaels Hospice, Harrogate at the 2017 Christmas Market.

Harrogate Theatre Choir

We are a 40 strong community choir that is both ambitious and friendly. We rehearse , perform and socialise together with the ultimate aim of sharing our enthusiasm for singing with our audiences .

Sophie Hawkes

I am a local violinist and member of ensembles such as Harrogate Youth Chamber Orchestra and St Aidan's Symphony Orchestra. I will be playing a mixture of traditional and contemporary Christmas music.

Lacewing – Mary Vipond (vocals) and Andy Whittaker (guitar) - are based in North Yorkshire and perform a range of traditional and contemporary folk ballads. All proceeds from their performance at the Harrogate Christmas Fair will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

Katherine Meade

I’m a young Harrogate musician. I sing mainly for pleasure, previously I've been a member of St Aidan's Chamber Choir, the Junior National Youth Choir and perform at weddings and other events. I also play the violin, keyboards and have recently starting learning the guitar.

I'm raising money for the charity Tommy's in memory of my cousin. I will be singing a variety of Christmas songs, both traditional and modern from across the world.”

Den Miller

I am singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Keighley and play at many festivals all around the North and other outdoor events such as Keighley Christmas Lights Switch-on. I perform mostly my own songs on guitar or keyboard (or both at once with my loop pedal), and harmonica. My music has been described as strongly melodic with intelligent lyrics. My songs often use comedy to make serious points, and I also perform comedy parodies.

Toni Sidgwick & Gary Sanders

Toni Sidgwick is an indie/folk/pop singer-songwriter originally from the beautiful Shetland Islands and now based in County Durham. Since moving she has teamed up with the brilliant Gary Sanders on cajon, harmonica (and many other jangly things) to produce a sound that is unique and with lots of textures. With influences ranging from Tracy Chapman to Ben Howard, they play a mix of originals and covers from all genres in a style of their own.

North Tyneside Steel Band

North Tyneside Steel Band is the North East of England’s top steelband. A registered charity, run by a board of volunteers, the band has been performing locally, across the UK and even internationally since 1992 and can boast amongst its players prize winning musicians who travel all over the world to play steel pan!

Spa Sax Quintet

Based in Harrogate, the Spa Saxophone Quartet or Quintet has an extensive repertoire and can provide music in a number of styles for weddings, corporate events, garden parties and during the festive season. This Christmas the Group will be raising money for Wellspring Therapy & Training and Mental Health UK whilst also supporting FOFWRAP (Friends of Follifoot Wildlife Recreation and Play), playing at various venues in and around Harrogate.

Stamp 26

Kenny has played the trombone since 1972, featuring in military, brass, German oomph and big bands. He also runs a brass quintet and has raised thousands of pounds for St Leonards Hospice.

Leah Waddington

Leah Waddington is a Grade 8 saxophonist in the 6th form at Rossett School, taught  by the late Ian Peak. She is also leader of the Harrogate rhythm and reed band 'Soundbyte' and will be playing Christmas and Jazz pieces at the Christmas Market in aid of Harrogate Young Carer’s
