The Puffin Ensemble

Tim Chapman 01423 712801

Saturday 11am – 12 noon & 2pm – 3pm

The Puffin Ensemble was formed in February 2005 from members of the White Rose Concert Band, based in Harrogate.

The ensemble, which currently consists of flute, 2 clarinets (who also play bass clarinets), and French horn (who also plays piano), has performed at Markenfield Hall, in the Valley Gardens, Harrogate, and to audiences for Open Garden engagements, raising funds for different causes.  We have been winners of the open section for small ensembles of the Wensleydale Music Festival, also successfully participating in the duet and solo classes,and will again be competing in  competitions in 2015.

We enjoy playing a variety of music from Baroque to modern, not only for the difference in styles but to give pleasure to those who hear us. We will be collecting for Follifoot Riding for the Disabled

Den Miller

Den Miller 07961 848 846

Friday 4pm – 5pm, 6pm – 7pm

@MrDenMiller

I am singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Keighley and play at many festivals all around the North and other outdoor events such as Keighley Christmas Lights Switch-on. I perform mostly my own songs on guitar or keyboard (or both at once with my loop pedal), and harmonica. My music has been described as strongly melodic with intelligent lyrics. My songs often use comedy to make serious points, and I also perform comedy parodies.
